Brave New Worlds 2 Coming Soon

Area-genre fans who are looking for their Spider-Man, Transformers, Simpsons and Star Trek fix as another summer-movie season comes to an end need to look no further than Brave New Worlds comics and collectibles store.

The Delaware Valley's number-one destination for comics, toys, manga, t-shirts and collectibles - Brave New Worlds will open its second location, and first Philadelphia store, at 45 N. 2nd Street between Market and Arch across from the Arden Theater in Olde City, store owner George Stasky announced.

With the opening of this second location, Brave New Worlds will also introduce an entire new wave of collectibles to the Philadelphia region in designer vinyl. Designer vinyl is created by artists and designers as toys and other collectibles that are produced in limited editions (from as few as 50 pieces to as many as 2,000).

First opened in 1989, Brave New Worlds first retail outlet is located at 212 North Easton Road in Willow Grove, Pa. and has been area fans best source for Marvel, DC and independent comic books; Magic: The Gathering card game and Heroclix; Manga; back issues and much more.

"Philadelphia-area fans deserve a place like this," Stasky said. "Brave New Worlds will provide fans with so much more than comics as out store will offer customers an experience above and beyond comic books.

Brave New Worlds II will feature a comics' lounge and will regularly bring in special guests from the industry for discussions and autograph signings. Brave New Worlds Philadelphia location will become an event destination for its customers.

Brave New Worlds has been a Delaware Valley tradition for 18 years and has been on the leading edge of the genre in offering diverse merchadise such as anime, manag and now designer vinyl. Brave New Worlds offers customers a subscription service and gaming nights for Magic, Heroclix, Vs. and Dungeons and Dragons.
